Big news from #TOCouncil: The mayor has a new vest!

Mayor Ford takes credit for bringing UFC to Toronto somehow. #TOCouncil

Ford attempts to bring council together by separating cllrs into 2 groups: union-loving liberals and righteous conservatives. #TOCouncil

That speech ought to silence those who claim it's only the left who's being needlessly divisive in #TOCouncil.

Ford has attended: Sun News kick-off, Ivanka Trump Ice Cream Thing, McDonalds fundraiser. Ford hasn't attended: anything to do with Pride.

Lunch Break

Garbage vote is going to pass, with Holyday amendment to send bids back to council. I'd guess 24-21. #TOCouncil

First amendment, Cho's suggestion to shorten term of contract to 3 + 2 + 2 years fails 19-25. #TOCouncil

The Fords will probably win this vote, but they're on the losing site of several amendment votes. #TOCouncil

Davis' various motions for extra standards for bidders + penalties for missed collection, safety violations, enviro protections all fail.

Another tie. 22-22. This council be crazy. #TOCouncil

Final final vote to receive quotes for contracting out garbage passes 32-13. #TOCouncil

Does Frances Nunziata even want to be chair? She seems to hate it. #TOCouncil

Maybe if it was a bridge to Red Light Island.

RT @derekflack

Guy who wants a giant flagpole doesn't want debate about the Fort York Bridge.

Nunziata: "It's impossible to be nice to some members of #TOCouncil." Points for honesty.
