Quick recap of this morning's special council meeting on the CUPE deal. Just four members of council showed up in person. The rest were online. Council learned the main CUPE 416 unit had ratified deal, but paramedics unit had NOT. Motion to ratify deal with main unit CARRIED 21-1.

Text from the report reading: Since the publication of the main agenda for the Special Meeting of City Council, the paramedics unit of the Toronto Civic Employees Union, Local 416, has failed to ratify
the memorandum of agreement. We therefore withdraw the proposed MOA from City Council's consideration at this time.
This parties will continue in the collective bargaining process.
The main unit of TCEU Local 416 has ratified the proposed agreement, and City Council should proceed to consider the original recommendations.

Vote result of 21-1 vote, showing only Holyday opposed.
