City Council — December 2021

Apologies for not live-tweeting council today. I promise I’ll have a really good excuse.

Meet my really good excuse. Freddie was born at 11:11 p.m. on Dec 15, 2021 after a ridiculously heroic all-day labour from my partner Erin. The kid is two weeks early, but right on time. Eight pounds and very sleepy. Mom is doing great. Dad is frazzled but enduring.

I am going to take some time away to figure out this whole being-a-dad business. @cityhallwatcher will continue with very special fill-in issues in January from @neville_park and @glynbowerman. I plan to return in February. See you on the other side.
